The HR Generalist is responsible for the daily functions of the HR department including hiring and recruiting and the administration of payroll, benefits, and leaves of absence.
The HR Generalist is also responsible for creating, implementing, and enforcing Company policies, job descriptions, and practices in accordance with all federal and state HR regulations.
Essential Duties and
Responsibilities:
Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments; Conducting background checks and employee eligibility verifications; Implementing new hire orientation and employee recognition programs; Performing routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development; Collaborating with the HR Assistant and Leadership to ensure all Company strategic goals are being met; Handling employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff; Taking appropriate disciplinary action against employees who violate rules and regulations and addressing employee grievances; Maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviewing policies and practices to maintain compliance; Maintaining knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law; Collaborating with Leadership on frequent updates to the employee handbook, policies, and addendums as needed; Manage the communication between the HR department and the employees.

Qualifications:

Education/Experience Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field desire.
Two years of human resource management experience in the medical or behavioral health field preferred.
A combination of education and experience may be acceptable.
Required Skills/Abilities Knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and regulations.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office/Google Workspace applications.
Problem-solving skills and resourceful thinking.
Leadership and coaching skills.
Strong empathy and interpersonal skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations SHRM or HRCI certification preferred.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
