Responsibilities:
The Call Center Specialist works as part of the front office team performing those duties necessary to prepare our patients for a clinic visit.
The Call Center Specialist primary duties will include answering/directing incoming calls, scheduling appointments, forwarding messages to clinical staff, sending requested information/documents to physician offices.
SPECIFIC DUTIES AND
Responsibilities:
Assist RHCC in maintaining a daily productivity goal as designed by the President/CEO.
Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner Update patient information and registration; obtain and verify accurate identification and demographic data for the patient's permanent medical record Arrange patient appointments (inbound calls and outbound calls) Verify insurance via electronic or web application or telephone Work assigned work queues and tasks Identify patient needs, answer questions, and solve problems Record and electronically send patients requests, messages, and refill request to provider Respond to voicemails & emails in timely manner Demonstrate working knowledge of all facets of role, relevant regulations, and organizational and departmental policies and procedures.
Maintain the confidentiality of the Robeson Health Care Corporation and the patient/clients that the corporation serves.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Qualifications:
1.
Must be fluent in English language, oral and written.
2.
Must have a high school diploma or its equivalent.
3.
Two years of experience working with an EMR system (EPIC) is preferred.
4.
Must have a valid North Carolina driver's license.
5.
Must have adequate work transportation that may require work rotation to other RHCC facilities.
